The book of Daniel beings with a royal kidnapping.  The impressionable young men were taken into captivity and given what looked like the “royal treatment”, but really it was the “royal indoctrination”.  A few young men took a stand against it.  The world we live in is much like Babylon.  How do we stand in a culture that opposes the views of God?

Read Daniel 1:8  Daniel had RESOLVE!  Resolve doesn’t mean you are perfect or always get it right.  It means you continually work at it.  You are devoted to it.  You persevere.  You are diligent.  How’s your resolve to do what is right?
